Nitro watches the statuses of the Windows services selected by the user and stops those that it finds to be running. The user can also specify service groups, which are correspondingly expanded into predefined lists of services.

Inspiration

Following many unsuccessful attempts to mitigate disruptions caused by a number of Windows services, (including attempts to disable the aforementioned services) I hacked together the Nitro utility as a quick-and-dirty solution.
